Far more than a place to keep liquid: storage units dimensioned by finite element analysis to absorb both the static load of their contents and the dynamic stresses around them — seismic loads and thermal expansion. Depending on your layout and the character of the medium, they are engineered as cylindrical, rectangular, cone-bottomed or, for maximum environmental safety, double-walled designs.

Equipped for liquid waste neutralisation, automatic neutralisation lines and pH adjustment, they detect acid and alkali shocks within seconds and restore chemical balance autonomously — the strongest support for your zero liquid discharge targets.

Intelligent feed stations that inject chemicals into the main process lines — coagulants, inhibitors, acids — to millilitre accuracy and without concentration swings. Covering dosing tanks, fully enclosed dosing cabinets, chemical distribution systems and IBC unloading stations, this group removes any hand contact with chemicals and raises both occupational health and autonomous production to their highest level.

Hydrodynamic reactors designed to bring liquid-liquid or liquid-solid mixtures of differing viscosity or density to complete homogeneity in the shortest possible time. With mixing tanks and eductor mixers there is no dead zone and no sediment build-up anywhere in the vessel. By maximising reaction kinetics they shorten your process time.

Molecular bonding (welding to DVS standards)

In plastic tank fabrication the weld is always the weakest point. Instead of conventional methods, Yongrad tanks use extrusion and butt welding to the German DVS standards, which bond the polymer matrix at molecular level. The weld ends up as mechanically strong as the parent material.

Advanced thermoplastic selection

Guided by the chemical map of your application — concentration and working temperature — we specify high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP, PPH) or fluoropolymers (PVDF, ECTFE) to give complete protection against extreme temperatures and corrosion.

SCADA and IoT integration (intelligent tanks)

That depends entirely on how aggressive the chemical is, its concentration and the working temperature. HDPE, with its UV resistance, generally leads for outdoor storage between −40 °C and +60 °C, while PP is preferred for processes up to +90 °C and for acid reactions. Working from chemical resistance charts, our specialists identify the right material for you.

Double-wall means a tank inside a tank. Even a microscopic leak in the inner shell is contained by the outer one, and the leak sensor in the interstitial space raises the alarm immediately. Where environmental legislation is strict and where highly toxic chemicals are stored it is both a legal requirement and the highest available level of safety.

Yes. Every large cylindrical and rectangular tank is stress-tested in 3D engineering software, taking into account the seismic accelerations of the site, the wind loads and the sloshing of the contents. Support frames and wall thicknesses follow from those figures.

Handling tonne-scale IBCs full of chemicals by hand carries a serious risk of burns and gas poisoning. Our IBC unloading stations are fully enclosed with automatic suction, so splashing, spillage and gas release are eliminated and the working area becomes risk-free.
