Turnkey Plating Plants.

Turnkey surface finishing built around your project.

Plants built around your production capacity, your floor space and the chemistry of your process.

We design and build plating plants to global standards for the high-precision surface finishing modern industry demands. By constructing the engineering infrastructure that best fits your production capacity, your plant layout and the chemistry of your process, we raise the quality of your parts and deliver superior corrosion protection.

Automatic Plating Lines Fully integrated systems under PLC / SCADA control

Fully integrated PLC- and SCADA-controlled systems for high-volume production and for industries that work to a zero-defect principle. On an automatic plating line, transporting the parts, immersing them in the chemical baths, dosing and temperature control are all carried out by autonomous robotic hoists and software. By removing quality variation caused by human discretion, these systems deliver identical surface quality on every cycle at maximum throughput.

Global Industry Applications
  • Aerospace and defence: Zero-tolerance hard anodising and Alodine (chromate) lines to MIL-DTL military standards for aircraft landing gear, radar equipment and ballistic components.
  • Automotive and OEM: Fully autonomous zinc-nickel, plating-on-plastic (POP) and cathodic e-coating (KTL) plants that give engine block components and chassis parts extreme corrosion resistance.
  • Heavy industry and energy: High-capacity plating complexes that give wind turbines and marine equipment long-life surface protection.
System Components
  • Intelligent transport systems: Robotic transfer hoists with laser positioning, optimised for the weight of the workpiece.
  • PLC / SCADA automation panel: Recipe-based process control, live data monitoring and reporting screens.
  • Automatic dosing units: Intelligent chemical feed pumps that hold bath concentration constant.

No. Pre-defined recipes are switched from the SCADA screen at the touch of a button, so the next production run starts immediately.

Where the existing infrastructure allows, we make your line intelligent by retrofitting robotic hoists and automation panels.

Manual Plating Lines Modular stations with maximum flexibility

Solutions offering maximum flexibility for frequently changing part geometries, research and development work, small-batch production, or delicate operations where process stability needs the operator's eye. With operator control to the fore, our manual lines stand out for their modular construction: they adapt instantly to process changes and provide a durable, ergonomic working environment.

Global Industry Applications
  • Medical and biomedical: Titanium colour anodising and passivation lines that give orthopaedic implants — screws, plates, joint prostheses — and surgical instruments outstanding biocompatibility.
  • Electronics and semiconductor prototyping: High-purity gold, silver and palladium plating processes needed during PCB test and prototype work.
  • Luxury goods and horology: Micron-accurate decorative rhodium and gold plating stations for watch movements, jewellery and premium accessories.
System Components
  • Process tanks: Reinforced, guaranteed leak-tight tanks in PP, HDPE, PVDF or stainless steel, chosen for how aggressive the chemistry is.
  • Ergonomic handling: Safe chain hoist and monorail systems that do not tire the operator.
  • Precision rectifiers: Power supplies whose current and voltage the operator can set and follow in the finest increments.

Exactly as on the automatic lines: push-pull ventilation and extraction protecting the operator is fitted over the tanks as standard.

Our manual lines are modular. Tanks can be added later, or semi-automation introduced on a particular section of the line.

Rack Plating Plants Even current distribution for complex geometries

These plants are engineered specifically for large, heavy or complex parts whose surfaces must never touch one another. The parts hang from the cathode bars on purpose-designed hooks. This distributes the current evenly, right into the recesses of the workpiece, guaranteeing a flawless deposit thickness and superior protection.

Global Industry Applications
  • Advanced electronics: Chemically very stable electroless nickel and ENIG (electroless nickel immersion gold) plants that guarantee zero signal loss for communication systems, 5G infrastructure and complex PCBs.
  • Premium automotive: High-quality nickel-chrome and copper lines for decorative trim such as interior display bezels, badges and radiator grilles.
  • Defence systems: Complex parts requiring millimetre accuracy and even current distribution: weapon mechanisms, optical sensor housings and guidance systems.
System Components
  • Custom-designed jigs: Plastisol-coated racks designed around the geometry and conductivity requirements of the part, preventing current losses.
  • Cathode bars and V-saddles: High-conductivity copper carrier bars that keep current transfer at its maximum.
  • Bath agitation (eductor / blower): Turbulence systems that carry the chemistry into the most hidden recesses of the part.

Directly. A badly designed rack prevents current from reaching the recesses of the part, or blocks gas release and causes burning. Rack design is the heart of our plant engineering.

Universal racks can be designed for parts of similar geometry, but for zero defects a dedicated rack per part family is essential.

Barrel Plating Plants High-tonnage systems for bulk parts

The most economical high-tonnage systems, developed to plate thousands of small parts at once and evenly: bolts, nuts, screws, washers, rivets and small fasteners. The parts are loaded into purpose-designed polymer barrels and rotated in the bath. With the right barrel design and rotation speed they are plated at the highest current transfer without damaging one another.

Global Industry Applications
  • Aerospace fasteners: Precise zinc and alloy plating lines that prevent hydrogen embrittlement in fuselage rivets and high-strength aerospace bolts.
  • Automotive fastening technology: Series production plants where fasteners used in their millions on vehicle chassis are plated to meet salt-spray endurance of more than 1,000 hours.
  • Telecommunications and electrical: Barrel systems that silver- or tin-plate thousands of small components at speed: terminals, contact pins and copper washers.
System Components
  • Polymer barrels: Chemically highly resistant cylinders in PP or PVDF, with varying perforation diameters and an optimal rotation speed.
  • Inverter-controlled drives: Geared motors that turn the barrel in the bath at the speed best suited to the part geometry.
  • Automatic loading and unloading: Fully integrated feed stations that weigh the parts and transfer them into the barrels quickly and ergonomically.

Because barrel speed and fill level are recipe-set to the optimum for each part type, mechanical damage is entirely prevented.

It follows the engineering balance between the size of the smallest part to be plated and the solution exchange the bath needs inside the barrel.
